DIY Golden Pads

I was going throught Tumblr and I found this image... the first thing that caught my eye was the golden elbow pads  in her sweater and what first came to my mind was... DIY! I hd in my closet a green sweater from Zara so it was the perfect victim. It was pretty easy the thing is that this time I didn't took a picture of every step :S
But I'll try to explain you what I did:
1. You will need: sweater, golden fabric, these patches they sell in the market that stick to the fabric with hot iron, scissors and thread+needle or sewing machine.
2. you will cut the golden fabric the same size as the patch and then you will sew them together.
3. you will iron the patches into the sweater.
